One of the main objectives of EPWS is to foster networking activities for women scientists in Europe. Therefore, in order to help and advise those interested and willing to create networks of women scientists and those running networks, EPWS is launching the preparation of seminars on the creation, running and financing of networks and association of women scientists and/or promoting women scientists.

 There will be two types of seminars:

-          management of networks

-          access to funding

These seminars will be organised in the first place for EPWS members and the first set of these seminars will be run around EPWS General Assembly in Brussels on 25/26 June 2009.

To best do so, the Platform needs your help and your collaboration. We would like to gather your long standing experiences and knowledge in the field to ensure that these seminars best reflect real national and international circumstances and take into consideration all practical aspects of the creation, running and financing of networks.

 We would therefore appreciate if you could take the time to answer the “EPWS Questionnaire Networks Management and Funding” . In doing so, you will contribute to the preparation of seminars that will help EPWS member networks to foster their activities and sustainability as well as support efforts made by associations in the making.

 The questionnaire is organised in 3 parts:

Part I: Background information on your organisation

Part II: Management of networks

Part III: Access to funding

The more answers and information we will get from you, the more targeted the seminars may be.
